Step into the warm Soothing Waters on beautiful Samish Island and immediately feel the release of physical discomfort and emotional tension…
As a lifelong lover of water, it brings me great pleasure to combine my current career as a college level wellness instructor and yoga instructor with my passion for water. I have also taught Special Education for 12 years and specialize in working with children. My warm, outdoor pool on beautiful Samish Island (a drive-to island) is the perfect place to relax and unwind, address specific physiological needs, or enhance spiritual awareness through Wondrous Watsu. |

My “freestyle” approach combines the aquatically inspired shiatsu and therapeutic massage elements of WATSU with subtle energy rebalancing and unwinding of water-adapted cranio-sacral therapy.
As a lifelong swimmer, I’m passionate about using warm water therapy as a medium for people to unravel into blissful states of relaxation, physical freedom, and fluidity. To me, the self-nurturing effect of WATSU is like untangling from deeply held patterns (like nets) of stress and tension so that feelings of relief, release, peacefulness, well-being, and reintegration can surface. I am a WA State licensed massage practitioner and am dually certified in both WATSU and Cranio-Sacral therapies. I completed my massage and cranio-sacral training here in Seattle at The Brian Utting School of Massage (now The Cortiva Institute), and had the honor of studying with Watsu-inventor Harold Dull at the School of Shiatsu & Massage’s Watsu Institute in Northern California. |

I am a licensed massage therapist for 20 years, co-founder
of Stillpoint Health Associates in Seattle. I have been a Watsu therapist
since 1995, and have studied many other forms of healing modalities, in and
out of the water. You can read more about me and the work I do on my
websites, www.watsunorthwest.com,
and www.stillpointhealth.net. Or, Google
Watsu and Seattle. I am working out of two pools, one is at the M'Illumino, a salt water pool close to Whole Foods on Roosevelt, and on Tuesdays I work all day at the Rachana Retreat Center off the Redmond Fall City Road. Directions to both pools are on my website. Hope to see you there. |

Try the Relaxing Experience of a Watsu!
Discover another new way to reduce stress and pain! Experience the unique treatment of Watsu at Water Lily Pool in Sammamish, WA Since 1998, I have operated at small business providing aquatic therapy to people of all ages with special needs. In addition to being a Watsu practitioner (with 350 hours of training), I am a certified Aquatic Therapist. Water Lily Pool is a 15 foot diameter above ground pool with a sun dome. The sun dome cover allows privacy and year round use. The pool is treated with Ozone Gas instead of the more typical Chlorine. Ozonators make efficient sanitizers in pools and provides a more natural and gentle environment. Come immerse yourself in the warm salt water of Heart Splash Pool. Let the water soothe your spirit, relax and unwind your body.
You may experience water's amazing ability to absorb and transform emotions that arise while you're being floated and stretched.
Watsu can be a great aid in injury recovery and pain relief. It is covered by many insurance companies as a form of massage therapy.
Since 1999, I've taken 300 hours of training in Watsu and WaterDance. HeartSplash Pool is a 16 foot round salt water pool located in Southeast Seattle near Seward Park. It is open year round. |

Since 1998 I have been dedicating my life to exploration in water. The
medium of warm water became a perfect ambiance for studying the correlation
between the musculoskeletal holding patterns and unexpressed emotion. It
has been quite a journey studying with some of the preeminent pioneers in
this medium. I have had the grace of being able to teach Watsu and work
with some very talented practitioners. I will be available for sessions
throughout the World Watsu Week April 21-28th, Call (360) 263-2119 to check
the schedule.
We have an indoor 24-foot salt-water pool in our land. The pool house is easily accessible with wheel chair access. Entrance into the pool is with a comfortable step and handrail. |

I am a certified Watsu® practitioner and licensed massage therapist. A Florida native with a lifelong love of water, I draw
on experience in Watsu®, Waterdance,Healing Dance, physical therapy, shiatsu, jin shin jyutsu, deep tissue work, craniosacral therapy,
as well as dance, yoga and qigong, to let each session unfold individually. I believe in the body's ability to unwind and heal itself,
and warm water is the perfect medium.
I have studied watsu, waterdance, healing dance, underwater healing dance, and watsu 3 adapted for special needs. Of all the modalities I have learned and practiced, healing dance has had the most profound effect on my work. I am currently working on my healing dance practitioner certification. I work with many populations, including children, adolescents, elderly, athletes, clients with emotional trauma, pregnant women and new mothers. I practice in a beautiful new 14 ft round salt purified pool at M'Illumino Studio in Seattle. |
